Engineering and consultancy organisation ESB International invests in, builds, owns, operates and maintains power stations internationally. It also trades electricity in European energy markets. Serving the global energy market, the firm provides engineering, operations and maintenance solutions, as well as strategic consultancy services. In 2010 GT Energy signed a Technology Partnership Agreement with ESB International to share resources in relation to the development of a geothermal electricity generation plant at its site in south Dublin.

Gaßner, Groth, Siederer & Coll (GGSC) offers comprehensive advice on commercial matters for geothermal projects that require wide-ranging expertise, including tax consulting and legal advice. It has developed a comprehensive geothermal financial model used by banking institutions to evaluate the financial viability of projects. GGSC is currently involved in the development of a number of projects, including the Pullach project, and the Aschheim, Feldkirchen and Kirchheim project.

Erdwerk is an independent planning office that offers hydrogeological and boring-related consultancy services for developing and implementing geothermal energy projects. It specialises in utilising thermal water and groundwater for energy-based and balneological uses. 

Erdwerk’s dynamic team supports us in all the planning, implementing and supervising processes of our projects.
Between 2002 and 2011 Erdwerk has planned and supervised 65,760.4 drilling metres.

Founded in spring 2007, it has since successfully implemented project management, engineering and consulting services in the fields of geothermal activity, engineering, drilling, construction and power plant technology.

IB News GmbH has more than 10 years’ experience in renewable energy projects. Its focus is on geothermal, biomass, cogeneration and district heating. The company, led by managing director Werner Seichter, has established numerous simulation models incorporating specialist expertise and experience from the development of renewable energy systems in Germany, especially in the area of renewable-led district heating networks.
